West Virginia Archery in the Schools Program

The WV-NWTF has been asked by the WV Division

of Natural Resources to help in the March 27th, 2010

Archery in the Schools State Tournament. The

Tournament will be moving to a new location, the

Charleston Civic Center because of the size and

popularity of this great event. More shooters means

there is an opportunity to include additional volunteers

to help in this event. Please contact Charlie Nichols at

if you can help. Volunteers

are requested to sign up before February 1st and if

you are a new volunteer let Charlie know so that the

yellow AIS shirts can be ordered for you. Charlie will

need your shirt size. Remember this is a huge

endeavor and a large indoor shooting sports program

so more volunteers are needed this year than in the

past. This sport is growing in our school system by

leaps and bounds. Come and be a part of something

good for our state’s youth.
